Little Busters! Refrain Anime Review~

Hello everypony~! n.n

So, I think it's about time I did another anime review since I've only done one and that was about...4 months ago? Heh.. ^w^"

Little Busters! Refrain is the second season to Little Busters! which involves all the same characters, but Little Busters! Refrain focuses more on the ending scenario of the visual novel developed by Key.
Just as a quick explanation, Little Busters! focuses on Riki finding new members to join the Little Busters! which Kyousuke named their baseball team which currently consists of him, Riki, Rin, Masato and Kengo. Riki ends up recruiting Komari Kamikita, Haruka Saigusa, Kudryavka Noumi, Yuiko Kurugaya and Mio Nishizono and as he does, finds out more about them and all their different back stories and mysteries they keep secret.

So with the plot of Little Busters! briefly explained, I'll start the Little Busters! Refrain review!

      -spoiler warning; Do not read ahead if you have not yet watched the anime-

Before I start explaining the plot of Little Busters! Refrain, I'll introduce the main characters that feature in the anime :3

This is Kyousuke Natsume!

Kyousuke is the leader of the Little Busters! and is also one year older than everyone else making him a third year in high school.
He is Rin's older brother and, even though it's not really shown a lot, he suffers from a brother-sister complex meaning he would prefer it if Rin called him onii-chan (which means brother but in a more affectionate way) but because of Rin's shyness and awkward personality, she prefers to call him Kyousuke :,3
He isn't always in the anime, but when he is, his presence has a real purpose for the current situation; he is a very important aspect in Little Busters! Refrain.

...oh yea! I hella fancy Kyousuke! Like, hella fancy him! Like, really reeeeeally luuuurve him~! <3

This is Riki Naoe!

Riki is the male protagonist of Little Busters! and Little Busters! Refrain.
He is the fifth member of the Little Busters! and is considered to be the weakest because of his girlish looks and physical build :,) but as Refrain develops, Riki becomes a lot stronger and confident thanks to Kyousuke's artificial world.
Riki also has narcolepsy which is a disorder that causes someone to fall asleep at any given time and for Riki, this started when his parents died while he was a child.

This is Rin Natsume!

Rin is the main heroine of the story and to start off with, is the only female member of the Little Busters! :3
Rin is Kyousuke's younger sister and she is very shy and doesn't like to communicate with others; but she will easily interact with Kengo, Masato, Riki and Kyousuke since she has known them from her childhood.
Because of how shy Rin is, she is very anti-social and is often seen alone or playing with the stray cats she takes care of in the school grounds :) ..oh yea! Rin loves cats! ~(=^..^)/
Rin is the pitcher for the Little Busters! even though she starts out as not very good :,)
Komari-chan is Rin's best friend after she later joins the Little Busters! and Komari-chan helps to bring Rin out of her shell and become more confident within the group :)

This is Masato Inohara!

Masato is one of the original members of the Little Busters! after Kyousuke recruited him when they were children :)
Masato is Riki's room mate and he is also very fond of Riki; he is definitely not afraid to admit it outloud...awhh :3
He has a rivalry with Kengo who is also a member of the Little Busters! as Masato likes to prove he is the strongest which he does often by having very...'interesting' fights, let's say with Kengo :,)
And as you can probably see from the picture, Masato loves to work out and improve his muscle mass...a lot!

This is Kengo Miyazawa!

Kengo is one of the original members of the Little Busters! and was recruited after Masato :)
While Kengo seems cold and cynical, his passion and love for the Little Busters! is unmatched by anyone; he really loves everyone so much~!
Kengo is very skilled in the art of Kendo and often engages in battles (using the term 'battles' loosely) with Masato to prove who is the stronger one :,)

This is Komari Kamikita!

Komari-chan is the first person Riki recruits into the Little Busters! and she soon manages to befriend Rin and brings her out of her shell and helps her become more confident.

Komari-chan is quite childish in the sense that she likes fairy-tails, picture books, candy and also loves wearing a lot of frills :3
Komari-chan is quite clumsy but manages to do well in her studies :) she is quite athletic though this isn't very obvious since she hasn't done a lot of sports before and is quite weak.
She is Rin's best friend <3

This is Yuiko Kurugaya!

...sekshii, isn't she? ;3

Kurugaya-san is the second person Riki recruits for the Little Busters!
She is seen as the 'older-sister' of the group and Haru-chin often refers to her as 'Anego' which does mean 'elder sister' :3
Kurugaya-san is very intelligent and frequently skips class to sit outside on the lawn area :)
She is also considered to be the strongest member of the Little Busters! and even beat Masato in a fight...but then again, she did use a muramasa :,) but even if she didn't, she could still SOO take him on! ^w~bb
Kurugaya-san is also very fond of cute things and people and takes a particular liking to Komari-chan, Rin and Kud :3 she is often seen teasing them in...just about PG-13 ways ;p

This is Haruka Saigusa!

MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER! <3

Haru-chin is a schoolmate of Riki's and actually belongs in a different classroom but nevertheless always finds time to visit his classroom :,) she is the third person Riki recruits for the Little Busters! n.n
She is considered to be a problem child and enjoys causing little uproars which very much annoys her twin sister, Kanata, and will cause her to chase after her (since she is the public morals chairman).
Haru-chin is very bubbly and active and is also one of the most agile members of the Little Busters! and because of this, has the position as an outfielder as she rarely fails to catch the ball :3
She is also impressed by Kurugaya-san's BREASTS! ;3

This is Kudryavka Noumi!

Kudryavka (or more commonly referred to as Kud) is the fourth person to be recruited by Riki for the Little Busters!

Kud is actually only a quarter Japanese and three quarters Russian and, because of her grandfather, knows a lot about the Japanese culture :) she also has a favourite phrase known as..
 "Wafuu~"
Kud also has two dogs, one is a large Siberian Husky called Strelka and the other is a small Schipperke called Belka! She is allowed to care for these dogs on the school premises as they are used by the Disciplinary Committee.
Kud is one of the weakest members of the Little Busters! but can also be quite strong as well. She can often be seen catching the ball, but more often is seen missing it and admitting defeat with a little wafuu~

This is Mio Nishizono!

Mio is the final person to be recruited by Riki for the Little Busters! although she doesn't play, she acts as the manager of the group! n.n
Mio is a very calm and diligent girl. She enjoys reading and can often be seen sat under a large tree with her parasol. She enjoys reading lots of books, but is always seen with her favourite poetry book by Bokusui Wakayama :)
At first, she refuses to join the Little Busters! but after Riki helps her through her struggle, she sees how much fun everyone has playing baseball and finally accepts his offer to join the group.
(pssst, hey! She also officially started the KyouRiki (Kyousuke and Riki) ship to which I absolutely worship!!! >//////<)

Okie, so with the characters introduced, I'm now going to talk a bit about the plot line for Little Busters! Refrain :)

The Little Busters! and some other school members were all going on a field trip but the bus they were on was involved in a major accident and the only two survivors were Riki and Rin as Masato used himself to save Riki and Kengo used himself to save Rin.
So, Kyousuke and the other Little Busters! created an artificial world through their desires to want to save Riki and Rin in which Kyousuke then sets different trials for Riki and Rin to complete in order to help them become stronger so they'll be able to deal with the tragedy of the real world.
This world Kyousuke created constantly loops and Riki and Rin forget what happens each time, but Kyousuke's wish for them to become stronger does work and after Riki and Rin have successfully completed all his trials and have become as strong as they can be, Kyousuke reveals all to them both and after a tearful farewell, orders them to leave the artificial world through the school gates.

Once Riki awakens in the real world at the scene of the crash, he remembers the promise he made to Kyousuke which was to protect Rin so he hurries to find her and they both leave the site of the crash and collapse in a large field.
Riki then realises that he doesn't want to live in a world without all of his friends, so he tells Rin to stay in the field and he goes back to the site of the crash and tries to save everyone. When he enters the bus to find his friends, he is startled by the sight and becomes very afraid which then results in him having a narcolepsy attack.
Rin comes back to herself after being in shock momentarily and realises Riki is gone and travels back to the site of the crash to look for him. Seeing this all before her, she rejects these turn of events and travels back to the artificial world (this time created by her and Riki). She speaks with Komari-chan who tells her how she wants Rin to smile again and be happy! Rin says that she could never do that without Komari-chan...
Rin then visits Riki in the artificial world and helps him overcome his narcolepsy and they both awaken once again and are suddenly much more determined to save everyone.
They both work together to save their classmates, the first person they find being Komari-chan. After pulling Komari-chan out, Riki notices a trail of blood leading around to the side of the bus where Kyousuke is leaned up against it.
Riki and Rin realise he is stopping the gas leak which would cause the bus to explode within moments if released. After Riki awakens him, Kyousuke tells them to save everyone else and leave him there. After a teary moment (with slight hints of KyouRiki) Riki and Rin do as Kyousuke said and manage to take everyone out of the bus and carry them up onto the field with some sort of carrying device they made out of sticks and fabric.
After everyone is saved, Rin and Riki go back to get Kyousuke. He tries to tell them to leave and save themselves, but they refuse to leave him. So they help Kyousuke up from the bus and start walking away. As they are just leaving the site of the bus crash, Riki turns around after being alerted by something and the bus then explodes.

Visual Novel False Ending;
After the bus explosion, Riki, Rin and Kyousuke get caught up in it and die. The only survivors are the people they managed to carry up to the field.
I do believe this is the false ending of the VN that I've heard about. I do plan on trying to play the VN at some point so I can find out for sure.

Visual Novel/Anime True Ending;
Even though Kyousuke, Rin and Riki were barely a few feet away from the explosion, they somehow survive it. Seriously though, it would be impossible to survive that explosion because they were honestly SO close to the bus! OwO;
But I'm happy they did survive :,)
After the incident, everyone received some sort of care from hospitals and were all discharged and no deaths came from the accident.
Kyousuke however, after the accident became comatose because his injuries were far more serious than everyone elses.

Rin and Riki are sat in their classroom and Riki is woken up by Rin singing and the other members of Little Busters! enter and express their concerns for Kyousuke and hope he awakens soon.
As if almost on cue, Kyousuke jumps up onto the open window and flips through just like old times :) Riki tells him he should be careful since he has just recovered but Kyousuke assures him he is fine and healthy.
Kyousuke then tells them all that he has planned another field trip. He rented a minibus for them all and they travel down to the beach and have a day of fun taking pictures and just being SO thankful for the fact they are all well and alive.
They can all now happily live in the real world and move on ahead <3

My thoughts on Little Busters! Refrain
Honestly, while watching this anime...I was struggling SO much to wait for the next episode! I was so desperate to find out what the secret of the world was I nearly went looking for spoilers several times!
I did read accidental spoilers though. One being about the bus crash and another about Riki and Rin, but seriously...Riki and Rin? Who didn't even see THAT one coming from episode 1 of Little Busters!? :,)
But I really did love this anime SO much <3 not as much as Little Busters! though. I think the reason for that is because this season was much more serious than the first season which was just a perfect balance of emotion, school life and developing relationships and friendships :)
But I love this season very much! Especially Kurugaya-san's route...dear GOD, I didn't half cry at that one! :,<

What I liked the most was seeing how Masato and Kengo joined Little Busters! :) and, even though it was sad, I liked finding out about Riki's parents, how they died and what caused his narcolepsy. I also liked the gradual development leading up to the secret being revealed even though it was killing me having to wait :3

I do wish though that this season was longer ;u; to me, 13 episodes just isn't enough! Especially for a story as moving as Refrain.
I would of liked more episodes for Masato and Kengo's routes. I mean, seriously. They covered their routes in ONE episode each! They could of gone into SO much more depth. That kind of upset me and is one of the reasons I must now play the VN.
Also, the false ending of the VN?
I wish that had been included and then after that, shown the real ending. I would of loved to see that because it would have been that AMAZING feeling when you realise everyone is alright!
A bit like CLANNAD After Story :3 you know, how Tomoya was living in this imaginary world where Nagisa had died, but in reality, she hadn't.
But I digress, back to Little Busters! Refrain :,)
I was told by a friend that the ending of Refrain was really depressing, so I was waiting for this awful ending that never happened. I mean, I'm glad it didn't happen...but since this ending featured in the VN and because of the real ending, I would of liked to have seen it.
So, my only complaints really for Refrain is that there weren't enough episodes to really capture the emotion of Masato and Kengo's routes and also the false ending not being included.

Overall, I give this anime a...
9/10 because everything else was just perfect! <3

The Naked and Famous LIVE! :D

Hay there, everypony! :3
So, as you can probably tell from the title of this blog (..maybe?) I went to see TNAF with my sister yesterday (30th of November 2013) in Oxford!
Which, may I also add...is 2 hours away from where I live! TwT;
The reason we went to see them in Oxford though is because we had originally booked tickets to see them in Birmingham and after the support act (Sons & Lovers) had performed, Alisa and Aaron came on stage and told everyone they had to cancel the show last minute because Thom was very ill ; - ;
I mean, of course I felt very bad that Thom was so ill...but it was very disappointing for them to cancel the show 3:
So, I was prepared to wait until they returned to the UK for another tour! But then I realised the last time they came to the UK was two years ago...I couldn't wait that long! I mean...what if they don't come again for longer than that?!
With that in mind, I booked another set of tickets for their show in Oxford (which was the closest location to where I am looking through their last remaining shows) because I just couldn't wait to see them! I didn't want to miss them!

So we went to Oxford! :,)
We also managed to snag a spot at the very front (..again!) and we saw the AMAZING Sons & Lovers again and then...
*drumroll*
THE NAKED AND FAMOUS! <333
They were amazing! Just...SOO mind-blowing! 
It's one thing listening to their music through headphones, but to hear them performing LIVE! To see them right there in front of you singing their songs...looking so happy...it's the most amazing experience! 
I had the biggest smile on my face the whole time and when they sang Young Blood...
I cried! :,33

It was an amazing night! <3

It's Thursday and the weekend starts! :D ..well, for me anyway since I don't need to work tomorrow ;F
And to celebrate the start of my early weekend...I'm listening to music! (*^v^*) ..big surprise there~Even though this is kind of a known fact, in case you gaiz don't know...I'm going to tell you something! n.n
 "I have such a great imagination~!"
Like I said, I'm listening to music! And because I listen to a lot of trance music...I often picture myself participating in really elaborate battles! xD you know, like rpg's! I play those...often! So when I listen to trance and J-core, I'm just fighting it up and kicking some A! ;D
I also listen to different music while taking part in these insane fight scenes >:D like, I recently downloaded Crimson Bow and Arrow (Guren no Yumiya) the first op. for Attack on Titan because that is the most amazing op. EVER ; - ; and the most AMAZING Anime, like...my actual faaaaaaaaaaavourite <3
But anyway! That song is so amazing and when I listen to it...I'm running around with the Recon Corps, using my 3D maneuver gear just...ripping those Titan's apart :,D it's SO much fun ; - ; I wish I really was a member of the Recon Corps! ;3;

So, how have you all been? :) I know, it's been a while again ; - ; I really just...have NO excuse for my long absences between blogs. EVER.
But this time, I think my reason is pretty understandable ^-^"
Aside from being very busy with stuff in general, I have been going through a pretty rough time personally :<
I'm not going to go into detail because I'd rather keep it private, but...yea :,) just some stuff has been happening that's had me rethink everything in my life and how I want some things to change...let's just say I had a 'mid-life-crisis-at-nineteen' thing :p
It's still going on a little bit; not really feeling like myself...but I do feel like it's getting slightly better...I hope it is anyway :)
But I'll leave it at that for now! :D
Listening to 'Rolling Waves' by The Naked and Famous at the minute, so that's cheering me up! 

SPEAKING OF MUSIC OMG!
I went to see Paramore LIVE!!! this Tuesday just gone (24th of September) and...holy all-things-that-are-amazing! Ugh ;3; they were just AMAZING! I saw them in 2010 and they were great then, but this time...they were even better! :D
I shouted...I screamed...I laughed...I cried...I sang...I just had the best time ever <3
I honestly felt SO great after I went to see them! It was as if I had woken up a new person and everything was fine and happy again :) I just think about that time now whenever I feel sad and...ugh! I just feel so happy! *happy tears*
I am also going to see The Naked and Famous in November with my sister and I am SO SUPER STOKED about that! Both my favourite bands in one year :,3
Perfect.

I've been watching a lot of Anime (surprise, surprise..) recently :) but it's sad! T3T
They have ALL been ending! :,<
Gin no Saji (Silver Spoon) ended LAST week and I didn't even know that until I checked for the most recent episode today :,) Free! Iwatobi Swim Club also ended yesterday, WataMote ended on Tuesday, Attack on Titan (THE BEST ANIME OF 2013) is ending on
Sunday :,< but no worries because I'm also going to read the Manga :D and Fantasista Doll is ending next Monday so...booo! D;
But on a happier note! :D Little Busters! Refrain will be airing on October 6th which I am SO excited about! I loved the first season SO much and even though I've been told the second season has the most depressing ending ever...I'm excited to FINALLY see it! :3 a third season has also been confirmed! Titled Little Busters! EX which is, apparently, a 18+ rated part of the VN...yes. Yes, it is exactly about what you are prolly thinking!
I'll most likely end up watching it anyway because I would have seen the first two seasons by then, but...idk ;c I think something like that might ruin Little Busters! ...idk! Hopefully it won't be...that bad. But then again...all that "hentai" crap is full on! Hahahh :,)
Not that I would know!! OMG NO! I don't watch that stuff :,) I just know because...well...it's hentai!
But Little Busters! Refrain :) eeeek excited! <3
I'm also watching Fairy Tail (175 episodes which is the longest Anime I have EVER watched) and it's SO SO SO AMAZING OMG JUST SUPER GREAT!
It's my perfect Anime! It has all of my favourite things in it! Like fantasy and magic to name a few :3 ugh! It's honestly the best :,)

I don't really have much else to say!

It's been a few days, right? I mean since my last blog :,) so...I don't really think that needs an apology or anything! n.n I can't blog everyday, so it's okay! <:
I will apologise for being really down and a bit depressed in my last blog...I wasn't having a good day 3: but I'm alright now!
And I'm even better at the current moment because I'm listening to music while writing this blog and music instantly makes me happier :,3 although...it's hard to sing and write at the same time! GYAH! (>m<)

I'm listening to Tommy february6 at the present moment <3 omgg, I just LOVE her! Her music is SO much fun to listen to :,) if I wasn't sitting down right now...I WOULD SO BE DANCING! >3< she's very rad :D

I'm not really sure what to talk about...I never usually write a blog with an idea in mind :,) they are mostly "in-the-moment" things :,) so idk! xD

OH!
I watched the latest episode of Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan) which was episode 19 :D
OHMYGEEZ! Seriously! :,) every time it gets better and better and BETTER!
As strange as this may sound to some people...I'm developing a bit of a crush on Levi :,) idk why!! xD
And the more I think about it...the more I wouldn't mind a bit of ErenxLevi myself ;D I'm not a yaoi fan in ANY way whatsoever! But for them...I could be ;,3 pahahahhh!! At first, the ship freaked me out...but the more I see them in the episodes together...it's kinda growing on me! xD my first same gender ship...how exciting..! :,)
This Anime is SO good though at leaving each episode with an unbearable
cliffhanger! >A< it actually hurts having to wait for the next episode :,) I mean, I like watching Anime's as they air (I've been doing that a lot recently) but when it ends like Attack on Titan for example...it makes me rethink MY LYFE! ...not related I know, BUT IDC!! Dx
*sighhhh* so yeeaaa.. :,) if you aren't watching Attack on Titan, you really should
start! :D it's amazing!! * w *

What else..? *taps chin*
I brought the Skyrim expansions yesterday if that is at all interesting :,) well...it is to
me! xD
I kinda hadn't been on my PS3 for a while and thus, obviously not Skyrim :p but after getting the expansions, it's totally got me back into it again! :,D
What did I do today..? Not a lot actually!! O:
Bandit raids...giant slaying trips...dealing out dragon deaths, you know...the usual! n.n I also became Thane of Falkreath which was...exciting, I guess :,3
I also haven't been on Tales of Xillia for a few days, so I think I'll play that again
tomorrow :D I love that game SO much! ;3;

(music update; listening to Brave Song - GDM..! God this song makes me cry ; - ; I can relate to it in so many ways) kyaaah! MUSIC! <3

Blaah...this song makes me happy and sad all at once!! D; my mood is changing rapidly at the moment from HAPPY! to saaaaaad...

Free! Iwatobi Swim Club Anime Review~

So for today's blog, I thought I'd mix it up a bit and talk about a specific Anime I have been watching recently :3
You all know by now that I LOOOOVE Anime, so...what better thing to do than to do a bit of a review, yush? <:
..even though I do Anime Reviews on YouTube, but...details, details! DOO DOO LEE DOO~

(Still currently airing; episode 5/12)

So without further delay, let's begin~! :D

So, Free! Iwatobi Swim Club (or just Free! for short) is one of the more recent Anime's to be produced by Kyoto Animation.
And, of course, Kyoto Animation has got a brilliant reputation after producing Anime's such as Air TV, Kanon, Lucky Star, CLANNAD, CLANNAD After Story, K-ON!,
K-ON!!, Tamako Market etc etc.
So with them producing a sport themed Anime with definite eye-candy, it's no wonder it's become so popular! :,)

So, the basic plot line for Free! is that it starts with 4 boys before graduating from primary school. Those boys being Makoto, Nagisa, Rin and Haru. They were all part of that schools swimming club and gained a huge victory in a competition but at the end of their primary school years, parted ways.
As it turns out, Haru, Makoto and Nagisa all attend the same high school and are still good friends. Later on, we also find out that Rin, who was thought to still be at a school in Australia, is in Japan and he challenges Haru to a race and coincidently, wins.
Even after winning, Rin's victory means nothing to him as we find out that Haru stopped swimming competitively after him and Rin raced as children and Haru won causing Rin to cry which pained them both.
Rin tells Haru that he won't accept his victory unless he races him for real, to which Haru responds by telling him that that won't happen any time soon.
While at school, Nagisa suggests to Haru and Makoto that they start a swimming club at their high school which, after persuading, Haru finally agrees to.
They enlist the help of Rin's younger sister, Gou (who insists that everyone calls her 'Kou') and later on, Rei joins the swimming team.
They all work hard in making the club a success and they soon apply to enter a swimming tournament that Rin is also entering. He sees this as his chance to get a true victory against Haru.

So, with that basic plot line down...let's introduce the main characters! :D

This is Haruka 'Haru' Nanase!

So, Haru loves swimming and loves being in the water. Even after he stopped swimming competitively he stills loves it (although he regains his passion for swimming after him and Rin race again).
He is very strong and quiet and...will often instantly strip down at the sight of water in order to go swimming :,) ...but HEY! I'm not complaining ;D
He appears quite cold on the surface, but deep down, he is very kind and cares for his friends. This is shown when he teaches Rei how to swim after multiple times of trying :3
He is the vice-captain of the swimming club and his favourite form of swimming is freestyle~! c:

Next we have Makoto Tachibana!

Makoto is Haru's best friend. Unlike him, Makoto is more outgoing and speaks up for Haru on many occasions >w<
Let's all just 'awwhh' in unison, ready?

Awwwhhhhh~! <3
Makoto is also very kind and considerate, but he has a...'weak' heart, let's say. So, he can get scared very easily :,) He is also the captain of the Iwatobi Swim Club!
His favourite form of swimming is backstroke~! c:

Next we have Nagisa Hazuki!

Just...just LOOK at that face?! >3< isn't he just...SO CUUUTE~?!
But don't let that fool you! He is pretty ripped underneath that school uniform.. :,3
Personality wise, he is a bit like Makoto in a sense that he isn't afraid to speak his mind and he is also very strong! :3
He has admired Haru since their primary school years and entered the same high school as him in the hope that he would get to swim with him again and then put forward the idea of starting the swimming club.
Nagisa is the treasurer for the club and his favourite form of swimming is
breaststroke~! c:

Next we have Rei Ryugazaki!

Rei is the final member to join the Iwatobi Swim Club.
He is in the same class as Nagisa and, before the swimming club, was part of the track team because he only cared about sports that involved beauty and calculation.
He is very handsome and intelligent and is quickly targeted by Nagisa to join the swim team after Nagisa observed him during his practice for the track team.
Rei is reluctant to join at first because he believes that swimming is not a beautiful sport, but after seeing Haru swim freestyle (which Rei thought was beautiful) he agreed to join.
We then find out that Rei can't swim, so each member takes a turn in trying to teach him until Haru steps in and offers support.
After trying everything to help him, Rei discovers that after lots of work...the only form of swimming he can do is the butterfly stroke, making it is favourite :,3

Next we have Rin Matsuoka! <333
(my faaavourite) >;3 ...kyaaah~! How I love his shark teeth.. *dreamy sighhh* ^////^

After being Haru's friend in primary school, it soon becomes obvious that they are both rivals now.
He went to a school in Australia, but returns to Japan and becomes estranged to his former friends due to a personality change which happened after he lost to Haru after challenging him to a swimming race in their first year of secondary school.
Rin goes to Samezuka Academy but did not join the swimming team their straight away; but he soon joins as he sees it as a way to finally beat Haru and gain a victory against him.
His favourite form of swimming is freestyle and butterfly~! c:

Next we have Gou 'Kou' Matsuoka!

Gou is Rin's younger sister and the reason I also put Kou as part of her name is because she prefers it when people call her Kou as she feels that Gou is too much of a boyish name.
She joins the swim club as their manager since she only really joined to help the clubs number go up so it wouldn't be disbanded. She also joins the club in the hope that she can help change her brother back to his old self as she really cares about him, even though she rarely hears from him.. 3:
As the picture I chose suggests, she also has the tendency to blush around men while admiring their muscles :,)
(maybe a secret motive to joining the club there..) xD

And finally we have Miho 'Ama-chan' Amakata!

I know that's really random, but I had a whole packet of them earlier :,) you just have to keep eating and eating them and before you know it, you've had more than half the packet and you think you might as well eat the rest now! xD

I know I spoke about this yesterday, but I just have to say how much I'm enjoying Tales of Xillia still~! <3 Something that made me laugh today though is that one of the bosses is a...moth! xD
I mean, yea it was a giant mutant kinda CRAZY WHOA WTH moth :,) but it was still a moth! :,)
And then the second boss I fought today, Milla's housemaid (I think that's right?) Ivar? Well can I just say..
What. An. Idiot. (>_<;)
It took me WAAY longer than it should have to beat him :,) he just throws attacks at you over and OVER hardly giving you any time to get up and recover let alone attack him!!
I swear I nearly cried out of frustration >~<; I managed to beat him though THANK GOD! He was open for a split second and I just went for it throwing in my artes and physical attacks :,) he freaking deserved it!
MILLA IS TRAVELLING WITH JUDE NOT YOU, IVAR!!! NOW GO BACK TO NIA KHERA!!

I think, so far though...my favourite character is probably Millia :3

I really like her personality :3 I like that no matter what happens, she keeps going and keeps trying to achieve her goal! :D
Like, at the moment..

She lost the use of both of her legs while trying to defeat Nachtigal, yet she still keeps telling everyone she wants to continue and won't give up :D I admire her for that c:

And also, the further you get into the game...she becomes a lot better at socialising with everyone because when she first meets Jude, she is...not exactly cold, but maybe slightly rude. But she soon becomes a lot more caring and relaxed when talking with everyone :D

I also really, really, reeeally like Elize :3
She is SO adooorable <: and Teepo, her doll, is so cuute too >w<
Like Milla, she also develops a lot socially as well c: and I like how she becomes more confident and how happy she is when everyone tells her they are all her friends :,3 not gowna lie...I shed a tear <3

I also have a hella crush on Alvin <3
Eeeek~! I reeeeally do like hiiimmmm~ n3n

Well, yesterday I got Tales of Xillia the newest edition in the Tales Series :3
I played it all day yesterday and all day today up until now and I love it SO much already~! n.n I can never fully understand how graphics for a video game can be so beautiful ;3;
And especially with the Tales Series c: another aspect of these games that always blows me away is the amazingly detailed story lines; they get you hooked immediatly immediately! :D
For anyone who hasn't played a Tales game, I recommend you do~!
OR failing that, you can watch a Tales game! :D yes, some of them have been made into Anime's! >w<

Ohmigosh~! No words to explain how great that book is! I wish I had that book going through my teen years :,) it would of helped me...A LOT!

Last weekend, I went to Nottingham with my mum so we could go and see From Up On Poppy Hill the newest Studio Ghibli film :3
If you aren't already aware, Studio Ghibli means SO much to me ;3; everything they create is perfection in my eyes! Honestly, without their films...I'm not sure how I would be living my life right now, I really don't. Studio Ghibli really did change my life and continues to do so <3
But this film....was so breathtakingly AMAZING~! A gem! Perfectly nostalgic, a joy to watch and visually stunning * w *
I felt such a strong connection with the characters that I could feel their pain, their loss, their understanding and realisation. By the end of the film, I was in tears ; ~ ;
Not just because of the reasons I mentioned, but also because nothing could ever be more perfect :3
I can't wait for it to be released on DVD~! I'm buying it, buying it, SO BUYING IT! >w<

I have been doing A LOT of writing lately :3
I love writing stories and one of my dreams is to one day have a book published c:
Are any of you aware of the AMAZING Wii game Another Code: R - A Journey Into Lost Memories? <3 I hope so because it's one of my favourite games ever~!
Anyway :3 after playing Another Code: Two Memories and then the sequel being Another Code: R - A Journey Into Lost Memories, I couldn't stop thinking about what it would be like for Ashley, Matt and Liz to meet again at Lake Juliet ( ^ v ^ )
And because of that, I wrote a sequel sequel :3 well...I am still writing :,) I think at the moment, it's around 30 pages, which I know isn't a lot, but I'm not aiming for it to be a real story, just a short one <:
But I'm really proud of how well it's coming along! Maybe when I'm finished, I'll share it if I can find a way c:
But as for publishing a book, I have the perfect story idea :D I have been writing notes about the characters, the plot...just, everything to make sure it's exact before starting to write :3
I get SO excited thinking about this story because it's even something I would read myself :,)
It's completely fantasy based (which is my LYFE) with a love story also n.n EEK~! I can't wait to start writing this :,)
I feel like Shizuku in Whisper of the Heart, I just CAN'T WAIT for this story to take form on paper! :3

I live life in my Fantasy Worlds~! ♥

Why, hey there!!~ :D
I always have a large gap between blog posts...idk why heheh :3

Anyway! I actually have a topic of interest I want to talk about today so...we'll see how that works out (^_^)
...SORRY! Even though you can't possibly tell, I was just distracted by my music for about 10 minutes :,)

YUSH! So.
Something you may not know about me is that I absolutely LOVE writing stories <3 I see it as a way of self-expression and creativity; being able to create something completely unique from your own mind :3
Writing stories makes me SO happy~! I have a lot of story ideas written down in different notebooks (a dream of mine is to actually get a book published one day) and I start writing one story, then move on to another, then another, then another and I never finish one because they are all so different and unique I like to try out the different ideas I have :3
I have one idea at the moment that I really love and this is the story I want published someday :3 I think with a lot of work, dedication and effort, this idea could really be something <3 I am honestly SO proud of this idea~

All the story ideas I come up with though are quite fantasy based because I love that genre more than anything else~! I also see all my fantasy world creations as a way of escaping from reality :D
I know that might sound strange to some people, but honestly...can you say you have never wanted to just leave reality behind and enter a world that is entirely your own? <3
I have. On a daily basis and not because I'm sad or depressed, but because I love my fantasy worlds and I just want a break from life and to live as a different person in a different world!

When I write stories, they are all written in the first person view because I feel that when I write in that tense, I feel more connected with the characters I create.
So when I am writing stories, I use a lot of description to make this world I am creating perfect and I actually, without realising, leave the real world and as I'm writing I am living life through this character.
Does anyone else relate to this? It would be great if you did because the feeling is...amazing~!

When I think about writing stories, I get so pumped up and excited because I just think about the fantasy worlds I've created and becoming part of them for a while in time :3
I will also lose track of time writing because I become completely at one with this world because I honestly feel like I'm really living in it. I hope this makes sense~

I think what I'm trying to say is that I feel very blessed to have the skill of story writing and that I see it as a great form of self-expression that, when used properly, can help anyone in any situation.
Also, leaving reality for a short amount of time really helps me deal with the outside world as sometimes it does get overwhelming ;c
But with this skill I have and along with my fantasy worlds, I feel okay.

It's...been a while I won't lie.

I have actually been pretty busy between the month of March and up to yesterday so that's why I haven't blogged. Well, I have actually completed all my college work! Like, for realz now! And omg the FEELING of no more college work EVER is actually really hard to describe :,) because it's had me so very stressed out lately and..blaaah because it's coming up to the end of my course, but now it's all gone...I JUST WANNA PARTAY!

But now I have no work left...I don't know what to do with all my free time other than waste it away on YouTube :,D
I'm definitely thinking of watching SERIOUS AMOUNTS of Anime because I have such a huge list of Anime to watch it's actually unreal :p

Any 3DS fans out there and any Animal Crossing fans out there will know that the UK release date for Animal Crossing: New Leaf IS FINALLY HERE! OMG I actually feel like I've been waiting for YEARS...in fact, I think it has been years...2011, right? Meh, I can't remember :,)
BUT YES! So! I totally am ordering that game, yush! BUT! OMG! <3 what it is is...ansjfbaejlkghl;j'[peapsibgln';z/ I can't even speak of it it's too amazing!! XD but for the release of the game, there is a limited release 3DS XL design coming out designed around AC games and omigosh <333 the design is SOOO cuuute! In case this wasn't obvs by now...I'm getting that :D because I wanted a 3DS XL anyway, so why not get this design? It also has AC: NL built in so..hells yuur :3
woopwooop!!~

I've also been convinced that downloading the Little Busters! Visual Novel is the right thing to do and so, since I have time I'll be doing that :3
After I've written this blog, I'm going on a hunt to find it and HOPE that I can download it onto my extra hard drive so memory on my laptop won't be affected and freak the hell out on me like oh hey you don't have enough well go screw yourself yes no punctuation is relevant right now I mean yea I know it is but does it look like I care right now? How are you all today on Saturday the 23rd of February? (^_^)
I'm actually in a reeeally good mood today! <3 I'm not exactly sure why, but I just feel really happy and my day has been pretty awesome!
I went into town with my sister from anooda' mister, Milkshake (which is my name for her x,D) and we did some shopping and ate at this surprisingly fancy restaurant which our cinema recently got finished, so yesh! :D and it was tastyyy! nomnommm :3

But as well as having a good day, I also feel like ME, MYSELF am quite happy :3 I just feel good about myself and that's something I've wanted for SO long now...a tiring journey to finally accept yourself as you are is a hard thing to accomplish :c but...I feel like I'm nearly there!
The one thing I really want is to find myself; I don't know what that means so I don't know how to do it, but with the fact I'm becoming happier, I feel like I may be able to reach that goal someday! :]
I feel pressured by society to always look perfect when I know fully well no one can ever be perfect...though some people may look it, no one is.
 I have been self-conscious about my looks and weight for SO long and I realise that WHEN does it ever matter? Why does your appearance matter?
It only matters when YOU make it matter.
I am slowly becoming better at accepting myself :) my flaws is what makes me ME and...why would I ever want to be anyone else?
Honestly. I have a GREAT life! I have a family that loves me (no matter how strange and...'bratty' I can be sometimes XD) friends that love me. I have a good job and my College course is going well and even though sometimes I get stressed out, I need to remember that I shouldn't take that stress out on myself and bring myself down because it's not worth the hurt.
As Dalai Llama would say..
 "You are unique, nothing can replace you."
So. A message to me and everyone else out there who feels a similar way..
Be yourself and don't let anyone ever tell you you aren't good enough, because you are and always will be!

I mean, everyone has those days where you feel down and upset and that feeling takes over every emotion in your body and you feel like nothing.
But if you are ever in that mood, you should remember...it won't last forever! Life is too short to feel down and depressed, make the most of what you can and enjoy everything your life offers!
TRY to take risks! TRY to get out of your comfort zone! Trust me, I know how hard that is...but it can be done in little steps, not just huge ones! :3

I'm not really sure how I got from talking about my day to this but...yea! :3

Beautiful Creatures film review!

My thoughts on the 'Beautiful Creatures' film!

I read Beautiful Creatures quite a while ago now and when I heard a film was being made...I was beyond excited I just...can't even remember how I possibly coped!
I am a huuuuuge fan of the Beautiful Creatures series but the film...had it's good and BAD points!

GOOD POINTS!
-The chemistry between Lena (Alice Englert) and Ethan (Alden Ehrenreich) was amazing! <3 without a doubt, their relationship on screen was flawless. I also watched several interviews with them and they also have great chemistry off screen so no wonder they were perfect on screen.
-Every character was casted perfectly! Especially Macon Ravenwood (Jeremy Irons) and Mrs. Linkin/Sarafine (Emma Thompson). And I also LOVED Ridley (Emmy Rossum). She was so beautiful and just perfect for the role of Ridley! They were all perfect, really! If I could picture the characters in the book looking like anyone, it would definitely be these people.
-The scenery was brilliant! When I first saw Ravenwood, I cried. I couldn't of pictured it any better and to see this place brought to life...it was really emotional! Also the Lunae Libri was too perfect for words! (...this is why I would be terrible at real reviews because I can't describe things without using 'amazing' and 'brilliant' or 'perfect'..)
-I really loved all the special effects! One of my favourite scenes was probably the dinner scene when the room was spinning and the table was spinning! I was freaking out thinking how utterly AWESOME that was! And how Ridley flew out the window...oh my gosh! Brilliant!
-THE ACCENTS! Oh my gosh! They were all...well, for a lack of a better word PERFECT! I was expecting some flaws but OH NO! They were all brilliant! Definitely true Gatlin folk! ;D

Now, I hate to do this but...
BAD POINTS!
-Amma. Now, don't get me wrong here! Viola Davis was the best Amma ever! I thought she was great and what I'm about to say is nothing to do with her, but...what happened to her character? In the book, Amma is portrayed as, definitely a caring guardian for Ethan, but she is also very strong-willed, quite harsh/strict and...quite scary in some scenes. In the film, she was still caring, but had NONE of the qualities the book version of Amma had which...disappointed me a bit in all honestly.
-I know they can't include everything in the film, but for me, there wasn't enough of Link and Ridley's relationship. I for one, LOVE their relationship! But in the film, you didn't get any of how Link really felt for Ridley (even though she is a siren) he still really adored her and their only scenes in the film was scenes of them involved in intimate ways which...also disappointed me a bit.
-In the book, Lena never used her powers to make Ethan forget her! I don't know why that was included and I don't understand the relevance of that because he remembers her right at the very end, so...why?
Ethan and Lena were involved to the end of the book so...why not that way in the film? That I really did not understand and I didn't like that at all.
Also, relating to the same point, SIX MONTHS...I repeat...SIX MONTHS passed of Ethan not knowing him and Lena were romantically involved and I just can't believe that. SIX(freaking)MONTHS...when I saw that writing at the bottom of the screen...that caused me to cry too because that DID NOT HAPPEN!
-Also, I am unsure of Macon Ravenwood's death. In the book, his brother Hunting killed him and (if I remember rightly) he, or his spirit in some form, got trapped inside an Arclight (if that is the correct name) and he returns in the...second book, right?
But in the film, he disguises himself as Ethan and takes Link's bullet (which also DID NOT happen in the book) and he died that way. I know there was no evidence in the book that would hint the use of an Arclight, but I'm really unsure if his death was real...or if he will return somehow...I'm confused and also disappointed about that.
-Ethan. In the book, he dies (momentarily) because Sarafine stabs him (NOT because Ridley influenced Link to create a bullet and shoot him). That also causes Lena to repeat Genevieve's actions and use The Book of Moons to bring Ethan back to life which works but also THAT is why Lena goes unclaimed, not because she dealt with Sarafine the way she did in the film.
-The songs also were not included.
I know, once again, it's hard to cover everything but I was really looking forward to finally hearing what those songs sounded like!
-We also never saw Ethan's dad. Yes, in the book Ridley attempts to kill Ethan's father by using her siren powers to influence him and I can admit that wouldn't really be necessary in the film but we could of at least seen him once! Because he did reveal himself a couple of times in the book, but the film? Not once. It could of been as simple as him showing up for the breakfast Ethan made at the beginning of the film or something along those lines.
-Also one more thing I found slightly strange was that Marian (the Keeper of the Lunae Libri) was cut out from the film entirely. Instead, the Keeper was Amma. Marian and Ethan had such a sweet relationship in the book since she was a good friend of his Mother's, Lila but...she wasn't in the film?
The more the film progressed though, the more I became OK with that fact because in Beautiful Chaos, quite a huge story line involving Marian occurs which would be very difficult to include in the film, but it was still a shame for her character to be excluded from the film.

Now, I know it sounds like I am really slamming the film and claiming it to be awful, but I assure you...I am not.
I am just sharing my opinions with parts that I loved and the parts I was disappointed in (mostly being the ending of the film not following the book at all).
But to end this review, I will say that I am still super happy this book was made into a film! And I did enjoy it very, VERY much even though I had a number of bad points to share :)
I know the authors were involved greatly, so they must know what they are doing so...I'm hoping they have a plan to bring the truth from the books back through into the second film, Beautiful Darkness.
But overall, thoroughly enjoyed this film. I really got into it and I adored the cast and the main story was still covered.
I really recommend this film to fans of the books and also to people who may not have read them yet in the hope this film will inspire them too!

How are you all today?

So, as most of you probably know...today is Valentines Day and the only interesting thing that happened to me today that was even remotely related to Valentines Day was messing around with the Google interaction...thing :,)
But honestly, I kind of don't understand Valentines Day :3 and not just because I'm single..

BUT! If you love someone...shouldn't everyday be like Valentines Day? I mean...I'm just saying? o.o
But anyway! It doesn't matter! c:
I hope everyone who has a partner and also the single people like me are all having a fantastic day! :D

Wh-What have I done today, you ask?
Well...I played on Ni No Kuni, of course! <3 and watched a new episode of Tamako Market...a usual day for me! (apart from Tamako Market doesn't have a new episode every day! XD heh..)

Well...I don't have much else to say! n.n
