Norn9: Var Commons Game Review~

Yahalloooo~

So I'm back! o(*>ω<*)o ..yay!! X,3
And reviewing another game! Norn9: Var Commons (as said in the blog title) ^^;

I just finished this game yesterday and, a little "fun fact" (..maybe??) for you all is that when I first tried this game, I could not get into it at all .-. I can't really remember why.. I wasn't confused with the story or anything, I just think it wasn't that gripping. I also remember being really annoyed when I was met with a Bad Ending in the third chapter..
THANKS SAKUYA! >. >
So I reckon I left the game alone for...a long while :,) maybe a month or so? Then the anime adaptation started airing and the first episode got me SO pumped to play the game again and I completed all Happy Endings (plus a few Bad Endings) AND the True Ending within the space of...7 weeks? That might not be good...but it feels good to me :,)
And now I am so beyond obsessed with this game ; v ;
Constant fangirling over it with loads of people has left me emotionally drained every day.. BUT I DON'T CARE BECAUSE I LOVE THE GOD DAMN GAME!! 。゜(`Д´)゜。
So...yea :3
I think that's enough babbling for now, so I'll just get straight on with the game review! ^O^

--SPOILER WARNING--
I'm not going to go into a huge amount of detail because this game has a lot of that :,)
I probably won't even spoil anything, in fact.. This is just a little warning so that I can't be blamed.
So I'm off the hook now! ..pheewf! ;O;

~   ~   ~

Norn9: Var Commons

Norn9: Var Commons is a Visual Novel/Otome game for the PS Vita system. If you are unfamiliar with Visual Novels and Otome games, I'll explain that right now :3

Visual Novel;
An interactive fiction game which usually requires the player (obviously being yourself) to make choices throughout which will lead to different possible endings.

Otome;
A story based game that is usually more directed towards a female audience. The point of Otome games is to follow different routes that centre around a certain male character and to build up a romantic relationship with that certain character. Each character route usually has good and bad endings.

So with that explained, let's get right into the review! ^ω^

Story~

The story begins being told through the eyes of Sorata Suzuhara, a 12 year old boy on a school trip. While being given a tour around the Diet Building (basically where important people make important decisions XD) he hears a mysterious song that only he can hear and shortly afterwards passes out.
He then awakens in an unfamiliar place and eventually meets a young girl who explains to Sorata that he is in Japan, but at the turn of the century in 1919. This girl (who Sorata names at the time "Ms.Weirdo") listens to Sorata tell her how he came from the future and wants to get home but doesn't know how. She doesn't want to leave him alone, so she takes Sorata with her to board a ship that she has been waiting for for a long time. Sorata immediately assumes she is talking about a wooden sailing ship, but is met with a shocking surprise when the ship is in fact an enormous round object complete with so many things inside that Sorata thinks it's big enough to be a city.
Once on board, they meet two other girls and nine men who all claim to be espers with special powers and they are apparently on a journey ordered by The World (a being that must be obeyed).
Before Sorata can even begin to grasp the situation he has found himself in, the ship is suddenly attacked by bandits who want to stop the espers from completing their journey.
(it is at this point, you choose to play as one of the three girls and the story unfolds from their point of view).

I'll explain a couple of things that may have left a question or two in your head :3

The Norn~

The Norn is the floating ship that the espers reside on. It's structure inside resembles that of an entire town with things like residential areas, fields, woods, waterfronts etc. This is why Sorata thinks to himself that it seems like a city.
..though if they need supplies such as food and other stuff, they need to stop at a town and shop. I mean, if you went to the trouble of making a ship that huge with all that stuff on the inside...then why not provide them with a crap load of food and stuff? That would make more sense to me :,)

The World~

The World is the being that all must obey. No one really knows anything more than that, but people seem to think that The World is "the will of the many made one".
Sorata has the idea in his head of The World being something similar to the United Nations which is obviously relevant to the year he came from, 2015.

Espers/Special Powers~

The special powers are held by the people on board who call themselves espers.
They range from things like plant creation (which Kakeru has (person above)), fire, water, telepathy etc. Only a few of the espers make their powers public at the beginning.
Those being Mikoto who has the power to create barriers, Kakeru who, like I said, can create plant life and Heishi who has the power of telepathy.
The rest don't talk about their powers much unless you are specifically involved in their route.

The Hiyokos~

I didn't mention these before, but I thought I would now since they feature throughout the game in various situations.
..they're basically the espers slaves..! (・・)ゞ
Just kidding~! ^O^ ..well, kinda? ^^;
The Hiyokos pop up every now and then helping the espers out with their day to day lives.
Also, Akito (one of the characters), is deathly afraid of these things! It's so funny whenever he encounters them in the story :,)

Game System~

I'm going to talk now a bit about the games direction and also a few extra things that you can enjoy while in between playing the game.

Game Flow~

The Prologue is the first part of the game and also the part you experience through Sorata's point of view before you move onto the character selection a bit later on.

Once you've been on the ship for a while, you (as Sorata) are offered the choice of either going with Koharu (the girl who brought Sorata onto the ship) to the roof, going with Mikoto to find a room or going with Nanami to cook breakfast.
[ RANDOM TIP WITH SERAH ]
Once you've completed all nine of the Good Endings, a new option appears at this point that you can choose which is to Explore the ship alone and this is how you complete the True Ending path. So definitely work hard to get those Happy Endings because this True Ending is kinda...mind blowing! :,) ..though you do pick a lot of it up throughout the game.

When you've chosen who you'll accompany, you then get to know the heroine you've chosen to go with a bit more and the men who make up that team. The people on board separated themselves into teams to efficiently complete chores and duties around the ship (but I'll explain who makes up what team when I talk about the characters a bit later) :3
It's during this time that the ship gets attacked and the point of view switches over to the girl you were just accompanying. I mean, you can choose to go with another girl if you want, I just think it makes more sense to stick with the girl you chose to go with when you were playing as Sorata.

Once you've chosen which heroine to play as, Chapter 1 starts and this basically consists of everyone searching the ship for any clues as to who attacked it and if there was any damage. You then spend a bit of time with each male character in your team doing clean up or whatever until you are summoned to a meeting. Kakeru takes on the role of the leader here and explains to everyone that a traitor is on board so pairing up is the best option to stop them from acting again as the pairs will be able to watch each other. As the heroine, you then choose from the male options in your group who to pair up with and that person is made the focus and the route you'll be following.
This is where Chapter 2 begins and the story starts to move forward.
[ RANDOM TIP WITH SERAH ]
Anyone who has played the game will know, but there are four characters that are recommended to play through first. I'm not sure why...but I think it's to limit the amount of stuff that is given away? Also to maybe save all the big revelations for later routes, I don't know :,)
But I think playing those routes first is actually a good idea!
The recommended characters to play through first are Kakeru/Senri (either or, but I'd say Senri), Sakuya and Heishi.

Affection Levels~

When you are interacting with the character whose route you chose to play, you will often be presented with moments where you need to choose a response to something they said or did. If you choose the correct one, your affection level rises.
This goes without saying, but the higher the affection level is, the more likely you are of getting the Happy Ending.

Timed Questions~

Very rarely, when you're given the option to respond yourself, some of these will be timed. If you don't choose before the timer runs out, an answer will be selected randomly.
Believe it or not...it's actually kind of stressful!! :,)
You can see and hear the timer and you're sat there like..
 "OH GOD! OH GOD! OH GOD! WHICH ONE DO I CHOOSE?!"
The thing that I do like about this game though is sometimes the option that sounds right to you may actually be incorrect O: with otome games, it's often easy to tell which option is the correct choice, but Norn9 didn't make it that easy ;A;
So that makes these timed questions even more stressful :,)

Gallery and Voiced Stills~

All otome games have the gallery option :3
This is where you can look back on all fluffy, happy, sad, heart-breaking moments that were turned into CG's and laugh or cry over them :,)

Also a few CG's will be voiced over.
This means that if you click on a certain area of the picture (which is highlighted by an icon) you can hear thoughts from the characters that they didn't speak out loud in that moment. Which I kinda like because they are really sweet ♡
..mostly. Some things said are occasionally a little bit kinky! O;
The guys on this ship on constantly hard up, I swear! X,D

Movies~

This is where you can watch the opening and ending sequences of the game.
..that's it :,3

HYK Hiyoko Channel~

While playing the game, the heroine will sometimes be given the option to watch TV. Nothing happens if you select "No", but if you select "Yes", you are given a short scene of the Hiyoko's interviewing certain ship members about random things and once you've viewed this, they become available to watch whenever in the Main Menu.

Norn9+Ensemble~

You can acquire different keywords while playing through the game. I think each character has two, though I can't remember exactly.
Once you've completed the Happy Ending, these keywords become available in the Norn9+Ensemble.

This basically means that you can rearrange the keywords you've earned into any order you like and play them back in the Ensemble mode.
..my Ensemble is pretty much made up of ONLY Heishi.. (♡ >ω< ♡) I just love him a lot.
Also once you've unlocked keywords that come from a certain character route, you can hear every character say that keyword.

To explain it in simpler terms...say one character has the keyword Love.
Once you've reached the Happy Ending and that word becomes available in the Norn9+Ensemble, you can listen to every character say "I love you" in their own cute and special ways :3

I can't remember what the keyword is...but one thing the characters can do is pant a few times. You know, like *pant pant*? Yea? You know what I mean :,)
And honestly, Natsuhiko and Itsuki? They sound like they've just finished, if you catch mah drift ;3 not even kidding, I almost DIED listening to them panting!! I mean, Natsuhiko especially because his seiyuu is OnoD..
BUT GOOD LORD, IT WAS HOT! x////x

Norn9 Store~

This is where you can purchase additional content like Short Stories for each character, a few extra CG's that don't fit into the game, some Comic Strips and the BGM.
You need points for this and you earn points by completing the Happy Endings and by playing the Norn9 Quest.

The Norn9 Quest~

Now I actually haven't tried this yet, but from what I've gathered, it's a retro-styled mini-game that involves interactions between the characters and stuff.. I'm not sure how, but depending on what happens, you earn points by doing that :,)

Characters~

If any of you are familiar with the game reviews I've done, you'll know that talking about the characters in my favourite part of the review! *ω*
So yay~! Let's start!ヽ(^。^)丿

Main Characters~

Name; Koharu
Age; 17
Height; 157cm
Power; [ I'll keep that secret since the game doesn't mention it in many routes ]
Seiyuu; Ayumi Fujimura

Koharu grew up alone for most of her life and as a result, forgot her own name. That's why Sorata referred to her as Ms.Weirdo when they first met :,)
Since she never interacted with people, in order to try and fit in and not offend anyone, she often read books on social etiquette and basic manners.
She is a very cheerful and polite person. She is also kind of-- no, more like super naive, but I think that's because she grew up alone without other people around her.

Name; Kakeru Yuiga
Age; 18
Height; 176cm
Power; Able to create plant life
Character Route; Koharu (considered Koharu's main choice)
Number of Endings; Happy Ending (1) Bad Ending (2)
Seiyuu; Yuki Kaji

Kakeru sure is an interesting character :,)
His usual personality comes across as very cheerful, kind, optimistic and quick-witted since he is the one who often brings other characters together. He also has a manipulative side to him which is a result of him being so clever as it looks like, to other people, he is scheming.
His..."other" personality side, let's say, can be kind of sadistic; he likes to put others on the spot. A frequent victim to this is Senri. Kakeru usually does this with no real ill intent, it just comes across that way because he seems to enjoy taunting certain people.. ^^;

Name; Senri Ichinose
Age; 16
Height; 165cm
Power; [ I'll keep that secret since it's only revealed in a few routes, if I remember correctly ]
Character Route; Koharu
Number of Endings; Happy Ending (1) Bad Ending (1)
Seiyuu; Hiro Shimono

Senri is really cute, sweet and kind but because of his quiet personality, these traits don't come across very often. He also prefers to stay in his room the majority of the time. This is because when Senri was a child, he was mistreated by adults which lead to him being unable to socialise properly and also unable to trust others, so he finds any excuse to stay in his room.
..If anyone can drag him out (..literally!) it's Kakeru! :,)

Name; Toya Masamune
Age; 24
Height; 186cm
Power; [ I'll keep that a secret ]
Character Route; Koharu
Number of Endings; Happy/Love Ending (1) Bad Ending (3)
Seiyuu; Takuya Satou
(You unlock Masamune's route when you complete either Senri's or Kakeru's first)

Basically...Masamune is awesome >ω<
Although he does get drunk off of sugary sweets.. Yea, I don't get it either... (¬ε¬ )
One thing that is noticeable about Masamune is that he is kind of the "big brother" character of the ship as he often breaks up arguments between others and is also seen watching over everyone. I think it's because of this trait, people often take advantage of him when they want something because he'll do almost anything to keep peace on the ship.
He is really intelligent and looks HOT AF in glasses! *heavy breathing* (*ゝω・*)☆

Name; Mikoto Kuga
Age; 18
Height; 168cm
Power; Able to create barriers
Seiyuu; Ayahi Takagaki

Mikoto grew up in a wealthy family and was often taught proper manners, so as a result, she is very mature and responsible. She occasionally comes off as a little bossy, but I think that's mostly because she considers herself very capable and independent and doesn't like it when others interfere with her business.
Before arriving on the ship, she never spoke to any men other than her childhood friend, Sakuya so she is often shown to be uneasy living on the ship.
..especially when Itsuki is involved :,)

Name; Azuma Natsuhiko
Age; 22
Height; 182cm
Power; . . .
Character Route; Mikoto (considered Mikoto's main choice)
Number of Endings; Happy Ending (1) Bad Ending (1)
Seiyuu; Daisuke Ono ♥
(You unlock Natsuhiko's route when you complete either Sakuya's or Itsuki's first)

Natsuhiko is very cold and rarely displays emotion.
..god, I need to be careful about what I say here...
He doesn't reside on the ship which is okay to say because you find that out close to the beginning! So that's not technically a spoiler.. ^^;
He's also a sadistic type of character. Though maybe more so than Kakeru since Natsuhiko means it, so he makes Mikoto feel verrrrrrrry safe and comfortable around him X,D
..that was sarcasm btw.. ^^"

Name; Sakuya Nijo
Age; 19
Height; 176cm
Power; [ I'll keep that a secret ]
Character Route; Mikoto
Number of Endings; Happy Ending (1) Bad Ending (2)
Seiyuu; Mitsuki Saiga

Let's just all take a moment here...
To appreciate how FUCKING BEAUTIFUL SAKUYA IS! ♡
I mean...he's GORGEOUS! DAZZLING! A pure bishounen right through to his soul! ;ω;
...*takes a moment to compose self*
*cough cough*
Okay! I'm okay now.. ^ / / ^"
Aside from being the most beautiful person on the ship, he is also such a gentleman! Whenever a girl is near him, he's so polite to them! *ω*
He also treasures Mikoto so much! ..he may be sliiiightly overprotective at times, but not in a bad way. He just full on hates when guys get too close to her :,)

Name; Itsuki Kagami
Age; 23
Height; 184cm
Power; [ I'll keep that a secret ]
Character Route; Mikoto
Number of Endings; Happy Ending (1) Bad Ending (1)
Seiyuu; Kouji Yusa

If you know me, you'll know I absolutely detest playboy and flirty characters :,) I just find them really annoying, but for some reason...I really like Itsuki! X,3 maybe because his flirty-ness comes off as more comic instead of serious?? Also I think he just likes ruffling the feathers of the other guys.. *cough cough* Sakuya *cough*
So...we all agree he's very handsome? ..yes? Okay, good! ;3
Also funny that when he flirts with the girls, it often leads them AND the guys to distrust him.
He kinda just can't win.. ;;;
Surprisingly though, he is actually very good friends with Nanami and Heishi. Surprising because their personalities are the exact polar opposites from each other, soo.. :,)

Name; Nanami Shiranui
Age; 16
Height; 165cm
Power; [ I'll keep that secret since it isn't often revealed in the game for a while ]
Seiyuu; Asami Seto

Nanami is my favourite Norn9 heroine~! ^ω^
You wouldn't think looking at her that she was born into a BADASS NINJA CLAN!!?
..well, she was. She also carries a kunai around with her, too..! C-Careful.. ^^;
She thinks much differently than everyone around her and doesn't care what people think of her, which I find is an admirable quality and one of the reasons I like her ;^; she's also quite distant and rarely shows her emotions so people can't read her very well. But when you're playing as her, you realise that she's really sweet and doesn't show her emotions for a reason.
I'll also say that, even though I can't say what her power is, she hates it with every ounce of her body ;;;

Name; Akito Shukuri
Age; 18
Height; 178cm
Power; [ this definitely needs to be kept secret because...it just HAS to be ]
Character Route; Nanami (considered Nanami's main choice)
Number of Endings; Happy Ending (1) Normal Ending (1) Bad Ending (1)
Seiyuu; Noriaki Sugiyama

Akito has such a foul and evil temper, so pretty much everyone on the ship finds him difficult to get along with.. ^^;
He also has NO sense of humour and HATES being teased.
..is there anything fun about this guy? :,)
Yea, honestly his Happy Ending is SO freaking sweet, I cried waterfalls ;;A;;
Oh! He's also an amazing cook and gets hella pissed off whenever Heishi and Nanami try to cook because they make...erm...something that can't be described ^^"
He's also terrified of the Hiyokos that wander around the ship which I mentioned before, so that's always funny :,)
Right at the start when Sorata and Koharu arrive on the ship, Nanami throws a Hiyoko right at Akito and he just...runs away! X,D

Name; Ron Muroboshi
Age; 25
Height; 188cm
Power; . . .
Character Route; Nanami
Number of Endings; Happy Ending (1) Bad Ending (1) Tragic Ending (1)
Seiyuu; Tomokazu Sugita

First of all. I don't know anything about age restrictions in Japan, but...
A 25 year old guy and a 16 year old girl..? I'm pretty sure that's not entirely...you know...allowed, right? I mean, it's-- You know what? Nevermind :,)
Ron is a tricky character to break down since he never talks about himself .-. I mean, if that doesn't raise a warning flag, then I don't know what will! >. >
People have apparently told him he looks creepy (..I think maybe it's the sunglasses?) but he isn't creepy looking. I'd even say he's very handsome! *ω*
He also refuses to remember peoples names...but there is a reason for that and once you know, I'm not sure if "refuses" is even the right word anymore ;^;
In all honesty...I only like him in his Happy Ending. And even then I'm conflicted because I don't like the reason that leads me to like him!! </3
He's just...a tricky character. I literally don't know what to say about him :,)

Name; Heishi Otomaru
Age; 19
Height; 178cm
Power; Telepathy and also being able to sense other peoples emotions
Character Route; Nanami
Number of Endings; Happy Ending (1) Bad Ending (1)
Seiyuu; Hiroyuki Yoshino ♥♥♥

Heishi is, without a DOUBT, my faaaaaaavourite male character! *ω*
I just have a huge thing for really upbeat and energetic characters and an even huuuuger thing for his seiyuu-- wait a minute! I JUST REALISED HOW STRANGE THAT SOUNDED!
I don't have a thing! NOR IS IT HUGE! I JUST LOVE HIM!! O / / O"
Uh..! *cough*
Erm...uh...OMG! I'm just going to carry on like nothing happened! > <;
. . .
His power of telepathy, while good in emergencies, often annoys people (especially the girls). Whenever he gets too excited about something, his feelings can leak out and affect other people and make them feel the same way. Which isn't good when Heishi is depressed ;^;
Apparently he disturbs people at night as his sleep talking can wake people up on the other side of the ship (because he can't always control his telepathy!) X,D
Basically...Heishi is just lovely and funny and cute and positive and outgoing and I love him! ♡

Side Characters~

Name; Sorata Suzuhara
Age; 12
Height; 135cm
Number Endings; True Ending (1)
Seiyuu; Atsushi Abe

While the protagonist of the story, Sorata doesn't play much of a role unless you play the True Ending (which is way shorter than I thought it would be) .-.
Sorata is...really, very, super smart! He loves science and technology and hates anything involving the supernatural which is why it takes him a while to accept his life on the ship. He tends to make fun of others, but will stop if he comes to like that person. An obvious victim to this is Koharu :,)

Name; Shiro [ I'll keep his last name secret ]
Seiyuu; Kenji Hamada

There isn't a lot I can say about him without spoiling anything > <;
..basically he's not a good guy :,)
He has ties to The World and to the people who attacked the ship and to the espers, so...
Who knows what this guy is up to?
..I mean, I do because I've played the game..
But you guys won't know if you haven't played the game..
So I'll say no more! *zips mouth shut* ^v^

Name; Setsu Takishima
Age; 18
Height; 177cm
Seiyuu; Mitsuhiro Ichiki

Setsu is Natushiko's assistant (not really a spoiler) and can work machines really well!
I don't know if I should describe him as "sadistic" or "masochistic" since they're both kinda different?
Basically, he gets pleasure from the idea of girls verbally or physically assaulting him and because of that reason, people who know him often ignore him.
. . .
Is it weird that I still like him? :,)

Name; Aion
Seiyuu; Yanaginagi

There is very little I can say about her because she is a spoiler in herself! :,)
The only description I can find about her that's spoiler free is that she acts as a guide through space and time.
..yep. How's that for a description, huh? >ω<

My Thoughts~

I really enjoyed this game! I enjoyed it so much! ;ω; considering how I couldn't get into it at first, I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed it in the end :,)
I really wish I had enjoyed it straight away, though ;^; I can't think of a valid reason.. Maybe it just wasn't what I was expecting?? But I loved it in the end??? WAA!! I just don't know!! ;;;
Now it's over, though.. I'm so bummed out </3 I mean, I still have some Bad Endings to play through and a few more trophies to earn, but it isn't the same ;O; I'll just have to go back and play my favourite routes again! ^O^
HeishiHeishiHeishiHeishiHEISHI!

One aspect of this game that I really like that sets it apart from pretty much every other otome game is that there are three heroines! Usually with otome games, it's one heroine and a bunch of guys and while that isn't anything to complain about because that IS what otome games are...I just really like having three such different heroines to play as :3 it was also nice because quite often they interact with each other ^v^ they even become friends which is super adorable! ♡
I also liked seeing the heroines interact with guys that weren't in their team. For example, Nanami and Itsuki. I often thought to myself..
 "..what would these two be like as a pair?"
And I honestly just couldn't picture it! It's just also nice to see a girl and guy in a otome game share a normal friendship c:
If there was something that maybe I didn't like...it was replaying the part before the characters split into pairs /: after seeing all three parts a couple of times, it's kinda like..
 "Yea, I know what happens, I know what to do... Let's just pair off already!" > <"
So when I go to play the Bad Endings, I'm going to make a few save files so I don't have to re-do those a billion times again :,)
ALSO! I do recommend following a walkthrough with this game :3
I mean, do a few blind playthroughs or just one, but I do think a guide is the best way to play Norn9 :,) mainly because a couple of characters (Sakuya, Masamune and Kakeru) have a few Bad Endings that pop up randomly! So if you miss the chance to save before you get those, you have to start that characters route aaaaall ooooover aaaaagain! ;A;
It's even more pointless because you don't get anything with these Bad Endings, it's just a chance to show something slightly different. So definitely play with a walkthrough because these Endings weren't anything to write home about at all :,)
I have a REALLY awesome walkthrough that I used and I would link it here, but I don't know if I would need permission from the person who wrote them ;O; but if you go to Google and search Norn9 walkthrough, I'm pretty sure it's the first one that shows up.
You'll know which one I'm talking about when you find it because it's so easy to follow and it's basically perfect! ^ω^

I have a few comments about the True Ending, though .-.
Maybe I was wrong to think this, but I was expecting it to be a similar length to other character routes. I wasn't expecting to have to make any choices since Sorata is a child so him having a romantic route with ( . . . ) would be strange. So that didn't bother me.
But the length of it did.
I'd say a character route, in general, would take me around 8-9 hours spread over a few days.
The True Ending? I'd say, at most, it was 2-3 hours >. >
I mean... WHAT?!
Like I said, maybe I shouldn't have expected a long route, but I felt so much more detail could have been added ;^; I mean, they reached their destination within the first hour, if that! I was so surprised and...kinda disappointed /: I still recommend playing the True Ending because it's necessary to help you understand, but don't expect anything amazing .-.
Although Sorata and Koharu talking at the end was super sweet and the CG that came with the ending was lovely ;ω; it just could have been so much longer </3

If we're talking about the character routes in general, I would say they were so perfectly well done! ♡
It would have been nice if they were also a little bit longer, but that is easily a forgettable point since the character development, romance development and the endings were literally...I can't fault them! ^O^
I especially found Nanami's character routes particularly heart-wrenching (while also GREAT!) but I think one of the reasons for that is because of her power and how much she hates it :<
It's also pretty good how they were able to link in separate endings with the main heroine endings! :3 Akito's Happy Ending is a great example of that! ^ω^

I really recommend anyone who loves otome games to try this one out! ^v^
I promise you will not regret it! :3 it's a refreshing twist on the otome game genre and the stories are so well developed and so raw with emotion, you'll do nothing but cry forever when you finish the game ; v ; ..in a good way, though! ..I think?? >v<

Overall Score~

I have a few categories I want to base this score on! ^O^

> Background Graphics: 10/10 (soo beautiful and vibrant~)
> Character Designs: 10/10
> Music: 10/10 (each piece was amazing to listen to and fit so well with the game!)
> Story: 9/10

Overall: 9.5/10

..I hate that I rated almost everything 10/10, but with those categories...I couldn't find anything to fault ;^; the only reason I have the Story rated 9/10 was because it would have been nice for the routes (and the True Ending especially) to be a little longer, but because the development of each route was handled well, it was easy to forget the length :,)

Basically, the game was awesome and I want as many people as possible to play it! ;ω;
I LOVED it soo much and if you like otome games, I know you'll love it too! ^ω<

~   ~   ~
