Yahalloooo~ (^ _ ^)/
Once again, it's time for my
Uh.. Yea..
SO! Seasonal Anime Tag! >ω<
This time for the Fall Season which is pretty much finishing up this week :3
And my thoughts for this season?
.. *sighhhh*
Whenever I finish one of these tags, I always say how excited and hopeful I am for the next season and it's very rare that I'm not let down by it ( ; ; )"
I was suuuuuuper excited for this season and I was quite let down by some I was most looking forward to... (/□\*)・゜
*cough* Code:Realize: Sousei no Himegimi *cough* ..I honestly don't even know what happened. Bad adaptation;;
But still there were some I enjoyed and will continue enjoying since my favourites are all going on for a second cour! *ω*
....
I mean, I don't want to be too harsh :,) Most series I watched this season I rated around a 7/10 because...well, I enjoyed them and they were good. But maybe only just good; nothing ground-breaking, you know? And I would also recommend those series because good is good! ..but good doesn't always mean ground-breaking.. :,)
You know what? Let's just start this thing already!! >ω<" ..I'm rambling ^^;
[ Remember, of course, that the answers to these questions are all my opinion. So please don't get offended if I dislike something you like and/or our thoughts don't match ]

1. What was the best anime?
For me, the best anime had to be Inuyashiki! *o*
It actually took me a while to decide whether to watch this or not :,) But in the end, I just went with it because the idea of 58 year old hero was appealing-- N-Not in a weird way!!! Just because all the heroes in shows these days are young and stuff. I mean, when has there ever been an older one?!
...
Exactly.
..unless there has and I just wasn't aware ^^;
Aaaaaanyway!
This series focuses on the life of Ichirou Inuyashiki and...it's not the best life he has;; Because he is older, the world has just generally written him off as pathetic and incapable. Even his family treats him like nothing despite all he does for them! One day, his doctor reveals to him that he has cancer and won't have much time left. Just when Inuyashiki is about to give up on everything, a blinding light engulfs him one night while he is in a park. After that night, it appears he has been turned into a machine of sorts and can no longer die and has been given incredible abilities! He then uses these new changes to begin a new chapter in his life by becoming a hero to the people. That night in the park though...there was also another person with him and what Inuyashiki doesn't know is that soon their fates will intertwine as this other person also became a machine like Inuyashiki.
This. Anime. Is. AWESOME!!!
Like, it's just sooo good! *ω*
The antagonist, Hiro Shishigami is a brilliant villain! ..like, there is no way to defend what he does at all, so you just completely and totally hate him! ..well, I did anyway :,)
I mean, there are times when you feel bad for him, but then you remember all the stuff he has done and it slightly ebbs away;;
But the ending of this series... WAS SO EPIC!!!!!! *o*
Inuyashiki eventually regains the affection of his family, or...maybe better yet, they just show him that they still loved him. And once it seems like they can relax together again, another disaster threatens their peace. And it's ended by Hiro and Inuyashiki and...
IT'S JUST SO EPIC WHAT THEY DO!!! ..but also sad;;
I mean, there are elements of this series (maybe more than just "elements") that are really dark and disturbing and just straight up messed up, but it's still awesome!!
And I recommend this series 100% *ω*
[ my rating: 9/10 on MAL ]
2. What was the worst anime?
There were a few I could think of, but I decided to go with Ousama Game: The Animation.
This is just a very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very, very bad series ( -___- );
It's got weak story telling that barely explains anything. Weak characters with backstories that are barely explained. Weak animation. Basically...everything is weak and not explained.
So, Nobuaki Kanazawa is the wishy-washy protagonist.
He transferred to a new school and once there, is reluctant to get involved with any of them because of events that happened at his old school. When a sports relay takes place at the school, he ends up opening up just a little bit and then the whole class receives a text message from someone or something calling themselves "The King."
No one in the class takes this message seriously and just dismisses it. Nobuaki is the only one who knows it isn't a joke and tries to convince everyone that it's real and soon enough, they're all thrown into this death game.
I mean, the general idea behind this anime isn't completely appalling. I kind of like the idea of the game and the people involved trying to figure out it's origin and how to stop it.
But this is just handled so terribly that it's a lost cause :,)
Whoever this "King" person is isn't properly explained. The origin seems to be a type of virus that is somehow tracked on a computer?? I honestly have no idea;;
It's boring and dull and every single character is unlikeable. They're either pathetic as hell or crazy as hell and whatever back story they have, like I said, just isn't explained. How can you like a character you barely know?
Just...don't watch it. Do yourself a favour and avoid this at all costs.
..and burn the second season before we have to watch it!!
[ my rating; 2/10 on MAL ]
3. What was your favourite anime?
My favourite anime this season was definitely Garo: Vanishing Line *ω*
I'm a BIG fan of the Garo series in general, so I was suuuuuper excited when I saw there would be a new series! And even better! Garo has always been a two cour show and since this series hasn't ended yet and it still ongoing, it looks like this will also have a second cour...
So, hella YES!!! ♥
This Garo series is set in Russell City where a dark omen is threatening the lives of the people there. The first person to hear of this omen is a man named Sword and he dons the golden armour of Garo to fight this omen more commonly known as a "Horror" which is born from a persons negative feelings and takes over said person entirely. His clue in finding out about this omen in the first place was the phrase "El Dorado" which causes his path to cross with a young girl named Sophie Hennes who is looking for her older brother; her clue to finding her brother also being the phrase "El Dorado."
Sword eventually agrees to help Sophie find her missing brother and thus begins their journey together.
I'm reeeeeeeally into this so far! *o*
And it's also really cool to see a Garo series in a more modern setting! The first series was kinda medieval-esque and the second series was set in ancient Japan, of sorts! So modern day is super cool! *ω*
I'm really enjoying everything about this! The characters are fun and enjoyable! Especially Sophie ♥ Sword is also pretty awesome and I like Luke as well and Gina is also a super cool badass ( ๑॔˃̶◡ ˂̶๑॓)
And the story is going well, so far! The first cour had good pacing and the development between Sophie and Sword's relationship was gradual and also...pretty cute :,)
And now they officially (it seems) have Gina joining their journey, it's going to be a awesome second cour and I just have to know what this "El Dorado" thing is and why it's connected to Sophie's brother!! *o*
Each series is separate to each other, so you can watch any at whatever time! :3
So, I'd recommend this one for sure! It may even become my second favourite in the series! I don't know if it'll be good enough to replace Garo: Honoo no Kokuin as my favourite, but it's climbing the ranks at least :,)
[ my rating; 8/10 on MAL ]
..it may change though since we still have the second cour to go :,)
4. What was your favourite OP. song?
There were quite a lot I really liked, but in the end...I chose the obvious choice! >ω<
..just kidding! But seriously.
I went with Ugoku, Ugoku (Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou).
When cute girls dab in an opening sequence...
This is when you know anime has really evolved :,D
But being serious for a second! This is a really sweet and feel-good series and this OP. song is the cutest thing I've seen in a long time! It's so catchy! Plus when you have Inorin and Shikaco singing together...you know it's definitely going to be freaking adorable :,) ♡
5. What was your favourite ED. song?
Again, quite a few I could choose from;;
But I went with the choice that a new favourite singer of mine sang!
And that is Step Up LOVE (Kekkai Sensen & Beyond) *ω*
I couldn't find the TV Size on YouTube (which I always do) but the full version is better anyway since... You know... DAOKO ♥
I first heard DAOKO when Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul aired back in April and I've loved and brought a lot of her music since :,)
Her and Yasuyuki Okamura really rock this song ;3
It's so bouncy and has the coolest sound to it! It's so fun to listen to and it totally suits the crazy yet colourful world of Kekkai Sensen :,)
6. Who was your favourite seiyuu of the season?
As I thought about this, it became clear that I really couldn't possibly have chosen anyone else because...it just wouldn't have been right! :,)
That person is Kana Hanazawa (voiced Hinata "Hina" Kawamoto from 3-gatsu no Lion 2nd Season).
First of all...
There can't be a person alive who doesn't love and/or at least respect Hana-chan's amazing talent! ..and if there is, then...well, whatever > <
Second of all...
I mean, if you've been watching the second season of 3-gatsu no Lion...you'll know how beautifully stunning and emotional Hana-chan's performance has been;;
Basically the second season of 3-gatsu no Lion has hugely focused on bullying and Hina has been on the receiving end of that. She stuck up for a friend who was being bullied and isolated by her classmates and eventually, even with Hina by her side, she ended up moving schools. With her gone, the bullying changed it's focus onto Hina and now she is being isolated and picked on.
It's heart-breaking.. </3
Hina is honestly one of the sweetest characters I've ever seen and to see her crying and hurting like she is...it seriously feels like your heart is in a vice ; ___ ;
Hana-chan is one of the most famous voice actresses in Japan and...maybe anywhere to people who watch anime and it's no secret as to why; she is so very talented! ^ω^
All the scenes where Hina is crying...it sounds so broken and so real that it's hard to believe it's acting! Hana-chan has captured Hina's emotions perfectly that you can't not cry when Hina cries and feel what she feels;; Also! When Hina was sat talking to Rei explaining that even though the class bullies her now, she doesn't think that protecting and sticking up for her friend was wrong, Hana-chan's voice has so much power in that speech and so much emotion that you just...you're completely mesmerised by Hina's conviction for her friend;;
Hana-chan's talent is always amazing, but sometimes you forget how amazing she can really be and it just blows you away when you see different roles that showcase her wonderful voice! I personally think that this season, Hina is one of her best moments ♡ω♡
7. Who was your favourite male character?
This was a hard question because no one in particular stood out to me...
So I went with a character I've loved since day one in the first season and that character is Souma Yukihira from Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara ( / / ω / / )
He is SO hot this season that he literally doesn't get burned by FIRE!! *o*
Is there anyone who doesn't love Souma? (ー_ーゞ
If there is... Why? He is literally perfect! *ω*
He can cook! He's witty! He's hot!!! Like, who wouldn't marry him?! ..exactly. You know you would.
But for the third season of Shokugeki no Souma, he is back again and cooking up a storm!
He's quite the hero this season, actually! His shokugeki stops the Polar Star Dormitory from getting destroyed, he helps keep Erina away from her father...and he even goes as far as to challenge Eishi Tsukasa who is the 1st seat of the Elite Ten Council *o*
His constant drive to keep learning and his never ending amount of confidence is just awesome! And I also love the fact he is really energetic but also laid back...he's like the perfect combination of everything!
Basically... Souma is a badass chef! (≧ω≦)ゞ
8. Who was your favourite female character?
Again, this was kinda hard because no one really stood out to me :,)
So I decided to choose the cute Sophie Hennes from Garo: Vanishing Line ( ^3^)
I couldn't find many good GIFS of her and this one seriously misrepresents her personality :,)
Sophie is suuuuper energetic! She has a lot of determination and that's what eventually gets Sword to agree to help her find her brother :,) She's also just...so, so, sooo sweet and cute ♡
Something else I love about Sophie is that she is really just super positive even though her brother is missing and she lives-- well, lived in an orphanage;; I mean, you'd think that would maybe make you feel a little down sometimes, but Sophie rarely shows any signs of that! She's just always smiling, looking out for others and just generally being a lovely girl :,)
If I had a younger sister like her... I know I wouldn't go missing > <
9. Who was your least favourite character?
My least favourite?
Asta "Asta Sutaria" from Black Clover (TV).
...'nuff said.
This GIF is Asta in a nutshell ( -___- );
He. Is. So. Annoying.
LIKE SERIOUSLY CAN YOU STOP SHOUTING FOR ONE SECOND?!?!?! (ノ`□´)ノ⌒┻━┻
This anime series is a heaping pile of stinking poop and Asta is like the annoying fly that flies around that poop > <
Nothing about him is likeable.
He's your boring and typical shounen character who dreams of becoming the best mage even though this dude lacks any magical power and instead inherited possibly the most powerful grimoire and uses a giant sword to fight > <
Also. He's an orphan who was dumped outside a church. I honestly don't blame the person who did that. I likely would have done it too :,)
His voice is enough to make your ears bleed.
Madadaaa! Madadaaaa! MADADAAAAA! MADADAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
We also got 51 episodes of this crap. Yippie... .·´¯`(>▂<)´¯`·.

So that was my Fall Anime Tag!
As it looks so far... I'm relatively looking forward to the Winter Season ^o^
In particular, I'm looking forward to Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu and Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan 2. I know the previous seasons of those two and I loved them both, so I know what to expect and I'm excited :,)
Also! Two series I have been waiting for! *o*
One is Darling in the FranXX *ω* This series is a collaboration between the two studios A-1 Pictures and Trigger and I'm a big fan of those studios! /) / / (\
And the other is Violet Evergarden ♡ The first episode was previewed back in July at Anime Expo and the regular broadcasting will begin in January! ;ω;
Darling in the FranXX and Violet Evergarden look promising, soo...
